Wouter De Cleene wins gold with Belgian Warmblood Alaric de Lauzelle!

What a weekend for LRV, the European championship equestrians and their chef d’equipe. In the dressage on Thursday, Belgium did an excellent job. Four riders achieved a top ten position in the rankings. A great performance! The cross country on Saturday was breathtaking. Everything coloured red in Tongeren, the weather was perfect and friends and family met each other in Tongeren to cheer on the Belgium riders,... and that paid off! Wouter De Cleene was taking the lead after the cross country, Raf Steegmans was in fourth place an Bart Hermans in seventh place. The Belgian team kept his first position in the rankings and was looking forward to the show jumping. The show jumping was quite thrilling, that was also mentionned by chef ‘équipe Herman Arnauts. But… they did it: Belgium won team gold at the European championship! Wouter De Cleene is the new individual European champion eventing with Belgium Warmblood Alaric de Lauzelle!
