In Shanghai last weekend a 5-star competition was organized. Lorenzo de Luca grabbed the GP on the back of Ensor de Littlange LXIII. Recently, dhe duo became tenth in the World Cup final. Ensor is a Nabab the Reve x Mr. Blue and was bred by Luc Coosemans. Maikel van der Vleuten became second with Verdi (Quidam de Revel). The bronze medal was for Alberto Zorzi & Fair Light van 't Heike (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Darco, Breeder: Karel Boonen).
That was not the only BWP-victory in Shanghai. Daniel Deusser was the best in a 1.50-1.55 with Hidalgo SX. This horse was born in the stables of Alois Van Gorp, his birth name is Hidalgo VG. It is a descendant of Quadrillo x Andiamo. The silver in that trial was for Gregory Wathelet & BWP Elite Stallion Eldorado Van Het Vijverhof (Thunder Van Zuuthoeve x Omar - Breeder: Jozef Houtmeyers).
The 1.45 opening trial was for Garlic vh Kapelhof, driven by Ramzy Al Duhami. Garlic is a son of Tauber vh Kapelhof x Orlando and was bred by Jan Winters.
