Not so many BWP horses at the start of the 5* competition in Abu Dhabi. However, there was a 4th place for Samantha McIntosh and Estina vd Bisschop (Heartbreaker x Libero H), bred by Tom Decreane. Estina is the full sister of the BWP approved stallion Dulf vd Bisschop and the Grand Prix horse Holland van de Bisschop. Half brothers Arizona (alias Flinstone van de Bisschop, by Utrillo Van de Heffinck) and Maestro van de Bisschop (by Cornet Obolensky) are also approved stallions, for KWPN and BWP respectively. In all these mentioned horses the blood of Heartbreaker is combined with the Libero H mare Secret Love Wonderland. This line largely meets the criteria to qualify for a BWP performance mare line number. Dulf van de Bisschop was recently honoured as new BWP ambassador.
